Cerebral Motor Deficits Program

The Cerebral Motor Deficits Program provides services to children and teenagers who are diagnosed with cerebral motor deficits.

Definition

Cerebral motor deficits are characterized by a movement disorders and permanent non-evolutive postural disorders. There can be various causes that are generally associated to a brain injury or a brain abnormality. This injury leads frequently te a secondary affectation of the musculoskeletal system such as muscle weakness, retractions and deformities which can be associated te sensitive, cognitive, perception, communication, behaviour problems and also epilepsy.
