Our Team - Communication Disorders

The program’s multidisciplinary team works together with both the child and family to meet their needs. Rehabilitation workers share in the responsibility of providing services to the different groups of clients registered with the Communication Disorders Program.

The team includes:

  • A Clinical Coordinator,
  • Administrative officers,
  • Audiologists,
  • Occupational therapists,
  • Speech therapists,
  • Psychologists,
  • Neuropsychologists,
  • Special education teachers,
  • Social workers
  • Graphical art technicians.

A pediatrician is consulted when required.

Children may consult medical specialists of other disciplines (neurology, child psychiatry, etc).

It is dedicated to providing ongoing and indispensable support for the 5,000 children with locomotor or speech impairments being cared for at the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Centre (CRME).
