Clients - Neuromuscular Diseases

The Neuromuscular Diseases Program of the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant provides specialized services to children and teenagers with neuromuscular diseases aged 0-18 years living in Montreal and Laval. Ultra-specialized services are also provided to all children living in the province of Quebec.

The diagnosis of the neuromuscular condition must be confirmed by relevant tests. These tests as well as all other pertinent documents must be attached to the program’s registration form.

However, if the diagnosis has not yet been completed, rehabilitation services may be provided if there is a need. The referral doctor must proceed in completing the diagnosis, and the child’s eligibility is accepted on a conditional basis.
