How it works

Lending Library

To register, parents must fill out a form and submit it to the child’s therapist. A registration payment of $15 for a period of six months is required.
Together with the parents, therapists make up a list of games and toys that could interest and stimulate the child.
The toy lending library is opened upon appointment.

Renewals

Depending on the child’s needs and the availability of toys, it is possible to renew the borrowing of a toy when the toy loan period is up.

Loan Period

Children can borrow two toys and two books for a maximum period of two weeks. Toys must be returned to the toy lending library on the date indicated on the card.

Other Services

The toy lending library can also provide consultations to organizations such as rehabilitation and community service centres on available toys and approaches for enhancing the use of the different types of games and toys.
