Objectives - Intensive Functional Rehabilitation Unit

Enable the physical recovery of children and teenagers by:

  • Providing therapy.
  • Using technical aids (ex. wheelchair, walker).
  • Providing support and guidance to both the family and the child staying in the Unit.
  • Helping the child achieve independence in daily living activities (ex. getting out of bed, getting dressed, brushing their teeth).
  • Preparing the child to gradually reintegrate into their home, school and social environments.
