Enhancing the integration of children into different environments and supporting their social participation require working in partnership with establishments of various vocations. Therefore, the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant (CRME) created relationships with a number of organizations, most particularly with:
- School commissions: Montreal, Pointe-de-l’Île, Marguerite-Bourgeois, Lester-B. Pearson, English Montréal School Board and Laval; cégep and university establishments.
- Hospital centres with short-term care: CHU Sainte-Justine, Montreal Children’s Hospital and Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.
- Rehabilitation centres for people with physical disabilities in Montreal and different regions across Quebec.
- Rehabilitation centres for people with developmental disabilities in Montreal and neighbouring areas.
- Youth centres in Montreal.
- CSSS centres in the Montreal area.
- Government agencies such as: the Société de l’Assurance Automobile du Québec, the Indemnisation des Victimes d’Actes Criminels, the Régie de l’Assurance Maladie du Québec, the Ministère de l’Éducation du Loisir et du Sport and the Régie des Rentes du Québec.
- Other partners: the Module du Nord, CPE childcare centres and the War Amps Association.
- Associations for people with disabilities: all organizations for people with disabilities and the Office des Personnes Handicapées du Québec (OPHQ).
- Community and recreational organizations in the different districts of the Montreal area.
Optimizing the integration and social participation of children rely on partnerships that are essential to the overall provision of services for the success of their life plans.
