Neuromuscular Diseases Clinic

The Clients

The Neuromuscular Diseases Clinic of the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant provides ultra-specialized rehabilitation services to children and teenagers aged 0-18 years living in Quebec, who have been diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease.

Rehabilitation professionals of the Neuromuscular Diseases Program work in collaboration with the child’s regional physical rehabilitation centre with the objective of enhancing the child’s social participation. Given the degenerative characteristic of neuromuscular diseases, efforts made by all of the partners focus on preserving the child’s functional abilities for as long as possible.
