The team work in collaboration with:

  • Pediatric traumatology hospital centers (CHU Sainte-Justine, Montreal children hospital), which are also our main referents
  • Health and social service center and particularly Community services local center
  • The Society of the car insurance of Québec (SAAQ)
  • Child care centers, schools, (Montreal, Pointe-de-l'île, Marguerite-Bourgeois)
  • Specialized schools (Victor-Doré, Joseph-Charbonneau, Georges-Vanier, Marie-Favery, Gadbois, Peter Hall, François-Michelle Center, Lucien-Guilbault educational Center)
  • Various rehabilitation centers in physical deficiency in Quebec
  • Rehabilitation centers in intellectual deficiency
  • Various community and sports partners.

Furthermore, to make sure that the child continue their school learnings, the Montreal school board offers services in the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant, for the hospitalized child.

The CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation’s Mélio Fund – formerly the Fondation Mélio – is an essential pillar of support for the centre of excellence in musculoskeletal disorders and in rehabilitation medicine. It is dedicated to providing ongoing and indispensable support for the 5,000 children with locomotor or speech impairments being cared for at the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Centre (CRME).
