Communication Disorders Program

The Communication Disorders Program of the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant (CRME) provides children and teenagers who have primary speech or language impairments with adjustment, rehabilitation and social integration services. These neurological disorders are not due to a motor, sensory, developmental or psychopathological impairment, nor of an anomaly in the oral-facial structure. They can however coexist with one or many disorders and manifest at different levels of severity.

Primary speech or language impairments most notably affect spoken and written communication, socialization and academic performance.
