Partners - Residence and Respite Unit

CRME employees work in collaboration with a number of organizations in Montreal and its surrounding areas. To provide quality services that meet the specific needs of the children, unit staff can call on Quebec youth centres, health and social service centres, rehabilitation centres for developmental disabilities, schools and daycares.

The CRME also manages the half-way home network and foster family care for temporary or permanent non-institutional accommodations. Efforts are constantly being made to develop respite services and to recruit intake staff. People who are interested in becoming a foster family or a half-way home resource can apply at any time.
